The Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation (NTSHF) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit. We have a highly respected Board of Trustees that includes professionals with nuclear testing, national security, museum, and business experience.

John Longenecker, Chair
(2025) – Chief Executive Officer, Longenecker & Associates, which provides support to the national security, environmental cleanup, science and nuclear energy sectors. Former member of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear Energy Institute and the former Chairman of General Atomics International Services. Served as the Department of Energy’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Uranium Enrichment. (2016)
Scott Wade, Vice Chair
(2025) – Las Vegas native and retired Department of Energy official with positions including as the Assistant Manager for Environmental Management, Acting Director, Yucca Mountain Site Characterization Office and Director, Office of Facility Operations. Member of the Board of Advisors of the UNLV College of Sciences. Former member of the Clark County Air Pollution Control Hearing Board. Son of NTSHF founding member Troy Wade. (2023)
Pat Arnold, Ex Committee
(2025) – Partner and CEO of Covelop, full full-service real-estate development corporation in California. Previously founded Arnold, Inc., and established three successful product research and development, manufacturing and construction businesses in Southern California. Grandson of Herb Grier, founder of EG&G, Inc. Member of the NTSHF Executive Committee. (2013)
William Wade, Treasurer
(2025) – Retired financial manager including as the Managing Partner of New Realities Consulting. Formerly the President of Essex National Securities, and the Executive. Vice President of Essex Corporation. Chairman Emeritus of Homeward Bound of the Grand Valley Colorado, dedicated to helping the homeless. Former Chair, Kevin Wolfgang Foundation and Former Chair, 21st Judicial District Review Commission. Brother of NTSHF founding member Troy Wade. (2023)
Martha DeMarre, Secretary
(2025) – One of the founding members of the NTSHF. Established and managed the NNSS Coordination and Information Center, later known as the Nuclear Testing Archives, which collected and housed agency records related to fallout from atmospheric nuclear weapons testing. Diverse experience in radiation monitoring and dose reconstruction records. (2022)

(2027) – Retired Partner for McDonald Carano LLP with experience as a litigator and attorney in Nevada. Former staff member to Representative Dina Titus. Former Nevada State Senator (1998 to 2010). Former Chair of the Nevada State Democratic Party. (2024)
Bob Cochran
(2027) – President and CEO of CTG Corporation which provides energy and national security sector support. Previously CEO and President of Westinghouse Government Services and former senior executive with Babcock and Wilcox. Previously Chair for the Board of Managers overseeing contractors at the Pantex and Y-12 National Security Site. (2024)
David Coons
(2028) – President and partner in Nigro Construction Services. Over 30 years of experience as a Las Vegas commercial and residential developer with strong ties with the business community. Over 35 years as a Las Vegas resident. (2025)
Jimmy Dahu
(2028) – Attorney at McDonald Carano LLP with experience in commercial, financial and bankruptcy discipline areas. Interested in preserving the history of Nevada and Las Vegas. (2025)
Dr. Paul Dixon
(2027) – Doctorate in Geochemistry. Retired Los Alamos National Laboratory having held numerous positions including the Deputy Director of Civilian Nuclear Programs Office. Board of Directors and Vice Chair for the First Nevada robotics and STEM education initiative. Chair for the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife. (2024)
Jack Doyle
(2028) – Retired executive for EG&G supporting the NNSS. Previously led the NNSS Remote Sensing Laboratory. Founding member of the nation’s Nuclear Emergency Search Team (NEST). Provides docent tours and educational briefings on radiological monitoring. (2012)
Debbie Garner
(2028) – Master’s degree in Education and longtime local educator (both public and private schools) with strong ties with the community. She has familial ties to the Nevada Test Site as her father was a long-time contractor employee (EG&G). (2025)
Orin Haworth, Jr
(2028) – Master of Business Administration and over thirty years of business experience as a financial advisor. He has familial ties to the Nevada Test Site as his father was a long-time contractor employee (REECo and subsequent M&O’s). (2025)
Michelle Helms
(2028) – Chief of the Office of Communications for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Lower Colorado Basin Region. She has substantive experience in media, public relations and intergovernmental communication for both public and private institutions. Previous experience as a news producer for Denver channel 8. Mark Hall-Patton
(2028) – Over 30 years of experience in museum management. Former Administrator of the Clark County Museum System (including the Clark County Museum, Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum and Searchlight Community Museum). Experience working in museum institutions in California, South Dakota and Nevada. Past president of the Nevada Museums Association. (2013)

Thomas O. Hunter
(2026) – Doctorate in Nuclear Engineering. Former President and Director of Sandia National Laboratories. Served as the Chairman of the Ocean Energy Safety Advisory Committee, established to advise the Secretary of Interior on off-shore energy safety. Advisor to University of Florida as well as other charitable organizations dedicated to education. (2017)
Eric Knox
(2027) – VCurrently serves the Vice President for Strategic Development, Energy & Environment at Amentum Corporation. He has served on several Boards including the Clemson University Alumni Board; the Waste Management Symposia Advisory Committee; as an Advisor to the Board of United Contractors Oak Ridge; and the U.S. Nuclear Industry Council (2011-2023). Former Senior Policy Advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management, and as a Senior Policy Advisor and Chief of Staff for the Department of Energy’s Under Secretary for Energy, Science, and Environment. Dr. Linda Miller
(2028) – Doctorate in Education and longtime public secondary and collegiate educator and curriculum development specialist. She has ties with many civil and genealogical societies. Dr. Miller has been a previous member of the NTSHF Trustees. (2025)
Dr. Carson Riland
(2028) – Doctorate in Health Physics and Nuclear Engineering. Retired Professor of Radiological Sciences at UNLV. Previously worked for the NNSS at both the Remote Sensing Laboratory and as a site Health Physicist. Certified as a Health Physicist and as a Safety Professional. (2025)
Robert A. “Bobby" Savoie
(2026) – Doctorate in Engineering and Applied Sciences. Currently the Dean of the School of Business at Loyola University. Established and led several high technology companies. Former CEO of Geocent, a national information technology and engineering services company headquartered in Metairie, LA; former CEO, Science & Engineering Associates. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the National World War II Museum. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Loyola University and the University of New Orleans. (2020)

(2025) – Extensive experience in news and public communication. Former News Director for Las Vegas Channel 8.
